Is this investment advice?
No. TellHawk shows data and tests ideas on history. It doesn't know your situation and doesn't tell anyone what to buy or sell. Past results, including ones that pass every test, don't guarantee future returns.
Can I trade from TellHawk?
Not from the TellHawk research terminal: it doesn't place orders or connect to your brokerage account. TellHawk Trader is a separate, lighter product for charting, a watchlist, a trade journal, and risk-managed paper and live order placement at your brokerage, currently in a closed, invite-only beta.
Does the Lab only show strategies that work?
It shows the evidence for every strategy, strong or weak, so you decide with the full picture. Finding out an idea doesn't hold up in a test costs nothing; finding out with real money does.
Where does the data come from?
Mostly official public records: SEC filings, short-interest reports, CFTC, the Federal Reserve, US statistical agencies, other government publishers, and third-party market data. Screens name their sources and the date the data describes.
How do I get access?
We're opening access in small groups. Apply from the home page with a few details about how you invest and research. We read every application.
What does TellHawk cost?
